A composite of the spirits of all who have given their lives for America, the American Spirit acts as a guide for those it deems worthy. It came to Bruce Carter III shortly before his death and convinced him to destroy the Urn to which he had confined his wartime allies.
Later, the Spirit recruited the now-deceased Carter once more, this time to aid its newest champion, the Revolutionary.
